As a reminder, LUCA Scholars must be first-generation college students who demonstrate strong academic potential and financial need. A first-generation student is one whose parents have not completed a four-year college degree in the U.S. Students whose parents hold a 4-year degree from their country of origin may still qualify. Additionally, students with a sibling who has enrolled in or completed a college degree are still considered first-generation.

By signing below, I give permission to the High School Guidance Department to release my child’s student school records. This includes unofficial and official transcripts, ACT, SAT and SAT II scores, and information about the student’s academic performance and personal development. This information is used to assist LUCA in determining eligibility, monitoring academic progress, and providing college guidance and support as needed. LUCA will be limited to contacting my child in regard to the LUCA Scholar Program, sending an application, and reviewing their current high school transcripts.
